POKOLBIN NORTH

The Pokolbin North Trail stretches from Broke Road to Hermitage Road and Old North Road and encompasses the Around Hermitage group.

Apart from exceptionally scenic vista’s, the Pokolbin North Trail includes some of the most renowned and highly awarded wineries, restaurants and providores and boasts some of the most enjoyable wine and food experiences in the Hunter.

This unique part of Pokolbin is built upon soils of some of the most famous Semillon vineyards along the Rothbury Creek and Jump Up Creek and their tributaries.

Synonymous with all things relating to wine and food, the area is internationally recognised for its world-class vineyards and restaurants, with its distinct terroir ensuring that some vineyards have enjoyed producing vintages for well over 120 years. Within the numerous wineries, restaurants, cafés, and gourmet food providers are some of the best-known and oldest names in Australian wine.

The Trail offers an art gallery, locally made produce, boutique beers, cheese tasting, golf, cycling, wine and cooking schools, day spas and wine tasting tours. The cycleway on Hermitage Road in Pokolbin offers a great way to do a leisurely tour of the cellar doors at your own pace. The Pokolbin North Trail is a journey to savour.
